NEETs
Need Our Help.
(NeNo)

NEETs Need Our Help (NeNo) is funded by the ESF Social Innovation+ initiative through Lithuanian European Social Fund Agency (ESFA).

This project aims at offering vocational training and increasing employment opportunities for young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) by providing them with apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities.

Project description

Through this project and with the contribution of all the partners (employment agencies, NGOs, professional counselling agencies, and mentoring centres), young NEETs will have the opportunity to attend professional training courses, participate in an internship in a foreign country and receive advice from a team of specialists who can help them get hired or find specialized courses.

Furthermore, the program aims to promote European values such as diversity and inclusion and foster a sense of European citizenship among participants. This goal will be achieved thanks to international internships and exposure to different cultures and languages. Therefore, participants will acquire the necessary skills to work in an international environment. They will also learn how to work in a team, communicate better, ensure deadlines are respected, be responsible, and manage their money effectively. All of this while connecting with people of their age and career level.
